Bian Gua Sha Stone

$11.00

Gua sha is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). According to the principles of TCM, your qi (pronounced “chi”), or energy, must flow throughout your body so you can feel your best.

Bian stone is said to have properties of Detoxification, and Rejuvenation.

For the Face

Gua sha has been proven to help relieve tension in the face, reduce puffiness and inflammation, and it can even help reduce sinus pressure. Divide your face in half, using your nose as the middle line, work from the middle line outward, 3 times in each area. Work your way from the forehead down on one side, and then repeat on the other side. Pressure should not be too hard, you want to get a little redness to form, but not so much that it hurts. Apply a serum or skin oil before doing gua sha on your face. Your tool will glide across the skin much easier and you will get better penetration of the product.
